Round Hill Country Club was originally founded in 1959 as a combination golf course and luxury housing community. The course was opened in fall of 1960. The golf course at Round Hill was designed by L.M. Hughes.
This championship par-72 course, spread over the gently rolling hills of Alamo, has attracted numerous organizations, businesses, clubs and golf tournaments, including the LPGA. Encircled by paved cart paths, the lush 6,400 yards of finely manicured fairways and sculptured greens, wind among stately trees and placid lakes.
This exclusive course is scenic and narrow, with holes as challenging as they are breathtaking. None more so than the signature 3rd hole, a 402-yard par four with water guarding the left side of the fairway and a large oak impeding your approach.
The golf course at Round Hill Country Club plays to 6,422 yards from the back tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.2 and the slope rating is136.

We specialy liked how the course was designed to fit into the lay of the land. Modern day courses tend to phony up the landscape. Natural is pleasing to the eye and challanges your experience as to how to play a hole. The facilitys are well designed and give the feeling of a higher class Country Club.
